AI Makes Everything Feel Useless and AI Makes Everything Feel Like a Credibility Problem

I can no longer tell which amount of views are genuine, I cannot stop Chinese spambots, and I fear that at some point, they will hack into my blog. So now, my interest in my blog after more than ten years has just died with this nightmarish predicament, because I can’t even measure my own progress anymore in any discernible way. Everything is just useless Chinese spambots hitting my blog every single day now.

When I’m getting calls – and again, this is every day and was very notorious during the first Trump Presidency before waning under the Biden administration but it returned with a vengeance right around the time that my blog was hit with spam bots – from AI spambots too. I have to reject all communication from phone calls now, because it’s always – ALWAYS – robocalls.

With AI companies now saying they just want to steal work from writers, ignoring all forms of copyright, and giving AI copyright protection, I just don’t feel motivated to write anymore. What the fuck is the point? Apparently, my talents don’t matter and don’t mean anything, if anyone can just input commands and have AI-generated horseshit make it for them, right? What does fact-finding research matter? What does real journalism matter? What does real writing for a fantasy book matter, when authors who send their work to editors have to deal with editors replacing spelling mistakes with AI-replacements which lead to copyright infringement? What does writing matter, when writers can just generate stories with AI? That is actually happening now:

So, what is the point anymore? Everything we do is therefore useless. AI is replacing humanity faster than we all realize. We’re all doomed. We can’t even see how AI is harming our credibility, even as it actively happens. AI will kill us all before we even realize it is happening.

There are claims of an AI bubble that’ll crash:

While I’m sure this holds true for now, eventually AI will become better. It seems inevitable. Imagine Einstein’s IQ x 10 million with no human flaws; that’s eventually going to be AI. Perhaps all we humans were meant to be, was a mere afterbirth of the earth to bring about the age of a man-made God who will replace us all, viewing us as too primitive and limited to have the right to exist.

Imagine some Bible-thumping or Quranic-loving AI researcher inputting the teachings of the Bible or the Quran into an AI with Einstein’s IQ multiplied by 10 million and without any human flaws. Would not the mass violence in the Old and New Testament or the imposition of forcing women to be slavegirls and the teachings to slaughter any perceived polytheist from the Quran by this monstrous, unstoppable entity be the beginning of the end of all of humanity? For what it’s worth, I hope I’m wrong.

I’m not trying to sound like a doomer when it comes to AI technology, but it’s seriously been a complete and thorough demoralization due to this spambot issue. I tried doing something positive by having an AI-generated video singing an ancient Iranian poem as a way of showing human technology singing of a long, forgotten ancient loss of civilization under Islamic rule, for example. I could see how AI-generated content may actually be fun and useful for “Choose-your-own-adventure” style video games, which presently seem like the only type of video games that may actually be fun with AI-generated systems. But, it’s counterfeit and stealing from other people’s work. Why work hard as a writer or an artist, if everyone can steal your work and AI-companies can then justify their theft by claiming copyright off of your hard work? What’s the point anymore, if even massive corporate industries no longer value human work ethic and drive? Furthermore, how’re you suppose to evaluate truth from falsehood, in an Artificially intelligent-generated world with Artificial Intelligence-assistance on essays, books, and plausibly even scientific research? What’s the point of hard work anymore for mathematical and social science fields, including many business fields, in an AI-generated world?
